Learning from your mistakes and teaching from your own voice is what makes us unique and special. In this episode, I talk to Caitlin Wolf, Associate Director at Rouse High School, about the value of standing out and straying away from the norms.

Caitlin began her high school career at Cedar Park High School before opening Vandegrift High School as a part of Vandegrift’s first graduating class and one of their first drum majors. She received her bachelor degree from the University of North Texas, graduating Magna Cum Laude and with Distinguished Honors. In addition to teaching at Rouse, Caitlin spends her summers teaching leadership camps and training band students across the country. She remains actively involved in the drum corps activity and continues to teach and train the DCI Drum Majors annually at the DCI January Meeting. Caitlin served as a drum major at Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps based in San Antonio, Texas from 2013-2016 and currently serves on the Crossmen Board of Directors.
