Cori Swan

Assistant Band Director, Four Points MS

Cori Swan currently serves as Assistant Band Director at Four Points Middle School, where she directs Symphonic Band and teaches beginning saxophone and beginning clarinet. Her bands at Four Points have consistently received superior ratings and the Symphonic Band was named winner in 2019 and 2020 for the Citation of Excellence by the Foundation for Music Education. Mrs, Swan is a cum laude graduate and a Fisher Tull Scholar from Sam Houston State University.

During her time at Sam Houston, Mrs. Swan received her Bachelor of Music and participated in the Bearkat Marching Band as a drum major and served as the principal clarinetist in both the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra. She also served as Drum Major for The Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps in 2014 season, their first year as an open class competitor.

Mrs. Swan has been working with SASi - The Leadership People since 2015. During her time, she has had the privilege of working with high school drum majors and leadership, middle school band leadership, and drum corps. Mrs. Swan currently serves as the Conducting and Leadership Consultant at The Guardians Drum and Bugle Corps where she has the privilege of working with drum majors and bringing the SASi Experience to all Guardians members each summer.

Mrs. Swan currently lives in Georgetown with her husband, Adam, and her crazy dogs, Peach and Amara.
