Kirsten Haddox

Kirsten Haddox (@kirstenoboe) is an oboist, content creator, and marketing professional from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Kirsten received her BMA degree in oboe performance and arts entrepreneurship from Penn State in 2022 and is currently pursuing her MBA in Music Business at the University of North Texas. Kirsten is highly interested in further deepening her understanding of the music industry's intricate dynamics and bridging the gap between the music and business world.

Kirsten's online content is a mix of music career guidance, oboe covers, and comedy videos. One of Kirsten's core beliefs is that every musician deserves artistic fulfillment and financial success. She advocates for the financial empowerment of musicians, striving to make their dreams of financial stability as tangible as their creative aspirations.

Kirsten currently works a full-time marketing position, is in school full-time, and additionally does social media content creation. She is working toward her dream of becoming a CMO or Marketing Director of a major music company or organization—or even launching a music business of her own!
